  • Patented 3-Piece Design for Safety & Comfort: Muffin's Halo is the original blind dog halo and the only patented blind dog bumper with three detachable pieces. This unique design allows the halo to sit above the dog’s head, reducing stress & anxiety and providing better protection. Simply remove the detachable “wing” and halo if necessary. Use the “D” ring on the harness to attach a leash for walks. Since 2011, we’ve helped over 50,000 blind dogs navigate safely and regain their confidence!
  • Find the Perfect Fit with 9 Sizes: Muffin's Halo comes in 9 precisely measured sizes to comfortably fit most dog breeds. From small breeds to large breeds (and even cats too), there is a Muffin's Halo for your pet.
  • Prevents Head-On Collisions: The reinforced bumper ring gently guides your blind dog and prevents head-on collisions with furniture, walls, and doorways, reducing the risk of injury and anxiety.
  • Boosts Confidence & Reduces Stress: By protecting your dog from unexpected bumps, Muffin's Halo reduces anxiety and helps them navigate their environment with more confidence, leading to a happier and more fulfilled life.
  • Veterinarian-Recommended: Recommended by veterinarians, Muffin's Halo is a safe and effective solution for blind and visually impaired dogs. “I think Muffin's Halo Guide For Blind Dogs is a good tool to help augment the lives of our patients with vision loss." – Christin Fahrer, DVM, MS, DACVO Eye Care For Animals

How to Measure

Step 1: Neck

Measure the width of your dog’s neck by gently wrapping the measuring tape around the neck, just behind the ears, until it comes together at the back of the head.

Tip:

If using the string method, follow the steps above. Mark the string where it overlaps so you can lay it down flat against the yardstick to determine the length in inches.

Step 2: Girth

Using a soft, flexible seamstress tape measure, locate and measure the girth or widest part of your dog’s rib cage.

Tip:

No soft tape measure? Simply cut a 36” (91 cm) piece of string and grab a ruler or yardstick.

Step 3: Profile

Measure your dog’s profile along the side of the face from the tip of the nose to just behind the ear.

Tip:

It’s always good to measure a few times to ensure you achieve a consistent result.
